What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 406

Please read about the revision we've had to make to the WOYWW Crop date.
As for my desk, well see for yourself!  I had tidied in order to prepare last Thursday's workshops, and then thought I'd get straight back into it. But life sometimes has an intolerable way of interrupting the plan and I haven't managed to return to normality yet. Didn't stop me buying new stuff to play with after Saturday's workshop though!
Not a bad view of the building site either....a very weather dependant project!
You can see I splashed out on some new stamps and some new pens; considering this is a brag post, I didn't do a good job on the photography did I! Never mind, you'll see it all in action very soon....the set of stamps on a Coffee theme are talking to me! There are remnants of paperwork waiting to be filed too - funny how you miss seeing something till it pops up in a photo. I'll probably get around to that just because they are genuinely in my way!
Show and tell please, we like to see, better yet, we love to be inspired! Put WOYWW in your post title and link here, thank you!

Nice and early today, means I can go and get ready for work now!! Great desk, though as you say, we can't really see the new stuff (I may be guilty of that too!) hope you get to play with them soon.

Good timing. I happen to get to warm while sleeping and was awakened and remembered it was Wednesday already. Ditto on "Life" taking over. I like the big house stamps, through the reflection I almost could make out mugs etc. Always fun to see how others use them. I am doing pretty well at using Stamps on my projects. (one of my goals) Then I spotted presents to the right, and to the left you have a lot of scissors in one place ! Mine are scattered everywhere, just like my tape measures. Well dear lady, thanks for hosting and have a fun week .

Not a clue what the stamps are so that will be nice for me to see you having used them. Not sure how others have managed to see what they are - guess I do need my specs changing.
Yes, seen the change of date and commented and still hoping to be there - ooh super excited, I hopefully will make a crop at long last.
What are you building if it is not too rude to be asking?
See you later.
Hugs, Neet xx 7

Good morning Julia
I am only glad you can not see my filing tray as it is a disgrace and about a foot high. Lord knows why at 61 and a half I've never got my head around doing it on a daily basis but there we are.
In the meantime that beautiful tag on the box has given me an idea for my project and I like the look of those pens.
Have a good creative week (hope life doesn't get in the way)

Well, I have recently discovered (and blogged) that un-messy crafting is not a happy way to craft at all lol. There are always treasures to be discovered within piles of stash :)
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Happy WOYWW. New stash - I love to see it, as I am on a strict 'no spend' policy for the 3 years that it is going to take me to slowly pay off my credit card debt! I am determined to get the balance down to zero (cards already cut up) and then I will genuinely have the spare cash each month to spoil myself. I keep telling myself that 3 years will just fly by, just like the last 3 (our eldest granddaughter was 3 in January). Ali x #27

Hi Julia, will look forward to seeing the stamps in action. That desk looks exceedingly tidy-doesn't happen with mine very often, although I'm yet to get mine very messy since I've been home. Love and lots of hugs to you, Shaz XxXx #8

I know exactly what you mean. I managed to dust, vacuum and clean my bathroom last weekend, but I haven't finished reorganizing my drafting table stuff yet. Good luck with your project and blessings!

I'm throwing my cap in first here today... because it's been quite some time since I last linked up. I hope you'll forgive me.
I can definitely relate to your post today Julia... all my plans and ideas are constantly tipped upside down lately.
Have fun with your new supplies. Happy WOYWW :D

I always love coming home with new stash after a workshop! All the creative enthusiasm and lure of new stamps begging for artistic release! I really need to learn to schedule more days off following so my new items don't get pushed aside for week...er, months before playing! LOL! Have a great week.

you know seeing your new stash of tools made me realize that its been a while since the last coffee lovers blog hop and that means there should be one coming soon. ( I will have to try to remember to find out) It will be fun to see what you do with your new goodies. ( I am cataloging my ink pads... and don't cha just know I tend to buy the same colors over and over again (from different companies) ( I am rolling my eyes) ~Stacy #43

Fun to have new stash, isn't it! As for experimenting, "some people are born weird, some people become weird, and some people have weirdness thrust upon them" lol! Guilty as charged. If I had my way, I'd be experimenting all the time. I really love trying different things out, and mixing different materials, and heating them and melting them, just to see what happens! Thank you for your comment - yes, it's very good to be feeling better again and to be able to start doing things again.

Happy belated WOYWW,
