What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday 418

I am totally on your side dear Deskers. I am as fed up with the horror of my desk as you are, and this particular week, I'm in the middle of so much that instead of the shameful shambles and frankly, the difficulty involved in actually seeing anything, I'm taking you through the door to glance at the dining table. Here lies treasure:
I am enormously grateful and happy to have received so many and such fabulous ATCs to celebrate the W8YWW. I know the photo is affected by solar flare, bad placement, shadows and wonky preparation, but it took me an age to get this picture. I got carried away by techniques and colours and ideas. Each time I leaf through these, something else strikes me. They are wonderful. What strikes me most, gazing at this picture, is how only one person made an ATC in the landscape format. Obviously, it's not against the rules, but if it makes your teeth itch to see the row format broken, blame LLJ the maker, not me!

You know that flexibility I'm always on about when it comes to commenting? I crave more of your indulgence. Last week was terribly busy and I did very little visiting.     what a beautiful bunch of atcs.. but did mine not arrive? I don't see it there. I hope it wasn't lost in the post. Anyway, you have a gorgeous selection.. even if the landscape format one upsets the symmetry! Have a great week.

    I love the ATCs you shared and was glad to see mine had arrived. These give me ideas for W9YWW now!

    You are our leader, so you deserve them. WE need to be thanking you. And please don't worry about visiting. I for one, understand that real life often gets in the way of virtual life.

    What a beautiful selection of ATCs and well deserved. Don't worry about not visiting, you've earned the privilege occasionally. I'm hoping to have the same timetable next year as this and not have to work on Wednesdays. It's the only way I manage to visit so many desks. Sarah #8

    No rules I am afraid, in the making of atc's, so Jan could have not been the only one - looks a bit as if she was. Know what you mean about lining up for a photo though.
    It's us that are saying "thanks" to you for bringing about so many hands of friendship throughout the years. Even those no longer participating are numbered amongst friends. Thanks Julia.

    What super ATCs, that's about all I have to show on my desk today too. I have added my page from last week with the painting/background. Not what I envisaged - typical me though! Bit behind today as it is my son't first A-level exam today so had to sort him first, 20 days to go to finish them. BJ#17

    Lovely ATC selection. Had I joined then there would probably have been a second landscape ATC as I make a lot of mine that way ... the one on my blog today for instance!

    Sorry to have been AWOL lately - vacationing in Florida is my pathetic excuse!

    What a fabulous collection of ATC's. I've had a close look at them and it always amazing me how peoples imagination and skills manage to come up with such beauties. I've kept the ones I've received over the years and they are on display and often commented on. Thanks Julia for making such a great group

    What a wonderful collection of ATCs! Love how LLJ broke the mould and thought outside the box! I've missed it this year, but the great thing about WOYWW is that it is so constant (no doubt due to your dedication, Julia!) so I have no reason to fear that there won't be another opportunity to join next year! Happy 8th anniversary - that's longer than some marriages LOL!

    That's a great collection of ATCs, Julia! Nicely laid out, too. I like the landscape one which gives an unexpected twist to an otherwise ordered layout lol!! Good for LLJ!

    Can't kinky today ( sorry that autocorrect is better than linky so it will remain thus... ) I have had a deluge of Atcs so I am La poste bound to return the love just need Neets full Addie ( or I can risk house number and postcode?) and I will be back in give take equilibrium... I always thought LLJ is a bit special.....

    I'm here.

    I'm slowly coming out of craft hibernation - but how long it will last remains to be seen as I'm about to crack on with CIPD, and that's a min 8 hours study per week on top of working full time. And gardening on Sundays (paid gig). And knitting for a baby. And supporting Lil Miss B on her round of Uni visits.

    YAY! for LLJ :) Though ALL the ATC's you received are wonderful :)
    I love sugru - my son swears by it and even used it to repair and then embellish his E-pipe. Great stuff.

    Hi Julia, your collection of ATCs are lovely and I'm glad to see mine arrived safely - eventually! I appreciate ATCs for their variety. Your comment on the formats had me checking out my collection from previous years and you'll not be surprised to learn that only one of those is in landscape format too.     I am grinning because, when I used to do atc's I did most of mine landscape lol... they all look super Julia :) don't worry about the commenting, I think everyone gets busy when they have more sunshine to go out and about in too
